Oscars 2021: Sushant Singh Rajput And Rishi Kapoor Honoured At The Academy Awards' In Memorium Segment
In the past one year, we lost several great talents. On the stage of Oscars, many celebrities including Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan, who also appeared in many international films, was honoured in the Memorium gallery segment. The Academy also paid tribute to Sushant Singh Rajput and Rishi Kapoor who left us for their heavenly abode last year. 

While late Bollywood actor Irrfan Khan was featured in the tribute video, late actors Sushant Singh Rajput and Rishi Kapoor were honoured in the Oscars gallery on their official website. Fans were happy to see their pictures in the Memorium gallery and also expressed their happiness. One fan wrote, "Our beloved @itsSSR featured in the Memoriam gallery at the Oscars. Thank u @TheAcademy," another user wrote, "Legends never die".

The Academy also remembered and paid tribute to actress Shashikala who passed away last year due to age-related complications. Rishi Kapoor died after a two-year battle with cancer. Sushant Rajput was found dead at his Bandra residence. The stars will be remembered forever.

Actors Chadwick Boseman, Sean Connery, Christopher Plummer, George Segal, Helen McCrory were among many who were remembered at the Academy's special tribute segment.
