filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar met Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the Central
Secretariat at South Block in New Delhi.
Speaking about the visit, Madhur said, “It’s always a great pleasure to meet our Honourable
Prime Minister Narendra Modi. I had a very pleasant interaction with the PM.”

It was a courtesy
visit by the Chandni Bar director, who has known the Prime Minister for a long
time.
The two have been
acquainted since PM Modi’s days as the Chief Minister of Gujarat.
The filmmaker
whose latest outing at theatres, Indu Sarkar was about the 1975 Emergency had
recently wished the PM on his 67th birthday. He wrote on Twitter, "Wishing a
very Happy Birthday to the most dynamic,hard working,& Visionary PM Shri
@narendramodi ji #HappyBirthdayPM Stay blessed @PMOIndia."
