SpotboyE conducted a poll asking fans who they think would have suited best to play the role of Rani Padmavati- Deepika Padukone or Alia Bhatt? And guess what? Majority of the netizens feel that no one could have justified the role as DP did. Well, we are in complete agreement.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s magnum opus Padmaavat was one of the most loved and watched films of all time. Led by Bollywood’s real-life couple Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone, Padmaavat was one of the highest-grossing films of 2018. The film had reportedly crossed the 500 crore mark and made a collection of Rs 585 crore at the Indian box-office. In the film, Deepika Padukone portrayed the role of Rani Padmavati, while Shahid Kapoor played the role of Rani’s husband Maharaja Ratan Rawal Singh and Ranveer Singh portrayed Alludin Khilji’s character, which was lauded by one and all.
Padmaavat was released on Jan 25, 2018, and this month the actors and makers celebrated 3 years of its release. On the said occasion, SpotboyE conducted a poll asking fans who they think would have suited best to play the role of Rani Padmavati- Deepika Padukone or Alia Bhatt? And guess what? the majority of the netizens feel that no one could have justified the role as DP did. Well, we are in complete agreement.

Was it @deepikapadukone or could it be @aliabhatt?” And the result is here. 87.2% netizens feel that Deepika Padukone was best suited for the role, while only 12.8% fans feel that Alia Bhatt would have also been the best choice.
