On Karan Johar’s birthday, his close friend and American Nepalese fashion designer Prabal Gurung put up an adorable picture with KJo and wrote “Pyaar Kiya Toh Darna Kya”. The filmmaker had an epic reply
On Saturday, the darling director of Bollywood, Karan Johar turned 47 and several celebs made it a point to wish him on his special day. One of the best wishes he received was from American Nepalese fashion designer Prabal Gurung. Gurung has dressed some of the world's most famous women including Michelle Obama, Demi Moore and Oprah Winfrey. He also designed Deepika Padukone's 2018 Met gala outfit.
He shared a picture with Johar in which the director has wrapped his arms around the designer and he captioned it as, "Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya. Happy birthday KJo." While, the Internet got talking on the photo and the caption, KJo’s response will bowl you over. He replied, “Control yourself bhaiya!”

There have been growing speculations that the two are dating and may be Karan took note of it, and decided to calm people down with his response. For those unaware, the two were in New York ringing in Karan’s birthday. An India Today report said that they were visiting 'The Boom Boom Room', a hotel in NYC's district, described as a 'glam, iconic club at the Standard Hotel with top-shelf cocktails, refined small plates and live music."
And now for the truth. Karan and Prabal have NOT dated. A source says, "If you say mujhko kisise pyar hai does not mean that you are dating him or her. Pranab has been in a very serious and steady relationship with someone else since 5 years."
On the work front, Karan’s recent projects haven’t struck gold at the box-office. Be it the multi-starrer Kalank or the recently released Student of the Year 2, none of these movies could manage to qualify in the HIT bracket. Next, he has Takht, again a multi-starrer that has Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Bhumi Pednekar, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor in it.
Apart from this film, KJo is going to come up with a new reality show in Netflix titled What The Love? which will redefine the perspective on love.
