Prabhas Demanded A Pay Cut For Saaho! The Actor Reveals The Reason- EXCLUSIVE
In an exclusive chat with SpotboyE.com, Prabhas revealed that he took pay cut for Saaho as the film’s budget shot up from Rs 100 to 350 crore
Saaho stars Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor are an excited bunch ahead of their film’s big screen release on August 30. Some time back, we had caught up with the stars for an exclusive chat wherein they spoke about the film at length.
During the conversation, Prabhas revealed that he took a pay cut for the film. Considering his starry status post the humongous success of Baahubali franchise, it was a huge thing for the actor to do this gesture. The actor who’s known to be grounded in his ways, spoke in a very soft manner and explained his reasons for reducing his remuneration for the film.
Said Prabhas, “Yes, it's my friend's production, we grew up together. They were ready to pay whatever I asked. I feel that for Baahubali, this film or any other big film, you need to do your part and take your time. You can't just take the remuneration as you also want the film to be of high quality and big budget because it was 150 crore before and it became Rs 350 crore later, so I need to do my part.”

Meanwhile, Shraddha treated her co-star and the team to authentic home-made Maharashtrian cuisine from her mother’s kitchen and everyone relished it. Saaho will be releasing in 3 languages- Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. Prabhas and Shraddha will be seen in the roles of cops. The movie also stars Neil Nitin Mukesh , Chunky Panday, Jackie Shroff, Mahesh Manjrekar, Mandira Bedi , Evelyn Sharma in pivotal parts.
