Priyanka Chopra has been unstoppable, adding one more feather to her cap now, she has left us inspired. From a beauty pageant queen, to actress, to producer to author, to now a restaurant owner, the diva has taken one more role in her life. The actress has announced of her new restaurant in New York named SONA that will satisfy the taste buds of the Indians away from home and of course allow the videshis to explore new flavours. The restaurant will open doors later this month.
Making this big announcement on social media, she expressed being thrilled and thanked everyone who helped her turn this into reality. The actress opened this restaurant along with Maneesh Goyal and David Rabin. Designed by Melissa Bowers, the actress is yet to share the inside pictures of her restaurant. PeeCee shared 3 pictures, the restaurant’s entrance carrying the name SONA, rest of the pictures were from September 2019 when she conducted an intimate pooja before the work to convert this space into a restaurant began.
Also seen in those pictures were Maneesh Goyal, PeeCee’s husband Nick Jonas and her mother Dr. Madhu Chopra. PeeCee wrote in her Insta post, “I’m thrilled to present to you SONA, a new restaurant in NYC that I poured my love for Indian food into. SONA is the very embodiment of timeless India and the flavours I grew up with. The kitchen is helmed by the incredible Chef @harinayak, a masterful talent, who has created the most delicious and innovative menu, taking you on a food journey through my amazing country. SONA is opening later this month, and I can’t wait to see you there!”
