Well yes, Priyanka Chopra lifted her 2nd People’s Choice Award in Los Angeles, just a few minutes ago. She was nominated for People’s Choice Awards’ in the Favourite Dramatic TV actress category for the second season of her American series Quan2co. In her second time nomination, Priyanka was competing with stars like Ellen Pompeo, Kerry Washington, Viola Davis and Taraji P. Henson.
As she took the trophy in her hand, Priyanka expressed her gratitude to family, friends and fans, “I'm just really psyched. Can I, like, do a little wiggle? I'm sorry, it's the concussion talking. But thank you so much. This means the world to me. Thank you."
PeeCee had won the Favourite Actress in a New TV series award at the People’s Choice Awards 2016 for her leading role in American TV thriller series Quantico. Priyanka was the first Indian actor to win the People's Choice Award. She had beaten popular Hollywood and TV actresses like Emma Roberts, Jamie Lee Curtis, Lea Michele and Marcia Gay Harden to bag the award.
Priyanka Chopra is all set for her Hollywood debut Baywatch which is slated to release on May 26. Priyanka will star opposite Dwayne Johnson and Zac Efron.
