Protective Boyfriend Virat Keeps An Arm Around Anushka As They Leave Dehradun
They have denied reports of an engagement but Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma were all loved up when they were spotted at the Dehradun airport
Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma were spotted at the Dehradun airport after ringing in the New Year with their families at the hill station.
Their holiday had spawned the rumour that the cricketer and the actress got engaged over the New Year. While they had shot down those rumours, it is obvious from these pictures that Virat and Anushka are stronger than ever. Virat kept an arm around Anushka while they walked through the airport and the couple was all smiles after their vacation together.

The engagement rumours started when a few pictures of Anushka performing a puja went viral and media outlets started reporting that the actress is performing the ritual before her roka ceremony.
Virat once again stood up and rubbished the rumours with this tweet: “We aren’t getting engaged & if we are going to, we wouldn’t hide it (sic).”
Later on, an official statement from Anushka’s spokesperson was released, stating: “No, the reports of Anushka Sharma, Virat Kohli’s engagement is just not true. They are on a vacation.”
Anushka and Virat reached Dehradun a few days before Christmas and from there, they left for Tehri where the actress’s parents were waiting for them. Interestingly, this was the first time that Virat is visiting the state since his appointment as the ambassador of Uttarakhand in April, 2016.
Anushka and Virat have had an exceptional year professionally. While the actress featured in two blockbuster films -- Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Sultan -- Virat led India to four consecutive wins in Test Series and also scored three double centuries this year.
