VIDEO: Radhika Apte: Tannishtha Wasn’t Aware Of The Show’s Concept But I Agree 200 Percent With Her Statement
The bold actress gives her take on the Comedy Nights Bachao Taaza & Tannishtha controversy
A while back SpotboyE.com told you about Radhika Apte’s bold stand on her leaked sex clip from Parched (Radhika Apte Lashes Out On Her Leaked Sex Clip Controversy, Oct 5).
Well, seems like this feisty actress was in a total mood to give some upfront answers. When asked about the recent controversy between Colors show Comedy Nights Bachao Taaza and actress Tannishtha Chatterjee, who is Radhika’s co-star in Parched, this is what she had to say:
“I believe in a lot of different things. If you are talking about cracking a joke on colour, I am completely against it. They didn’t comment on my colour but called me lizard or something which I found funny. However, I completely support Tannishtha,”
Radhika further said. “Honestly, I knew about Comedy Nights Bachao Taaza’s concept. If they had done something like body-shaming me, I also would’ve protested. I spoke to them backstage. I think Tannishtha wasn’t aware of the show but I agree with her 200 per cent with her statement.”
Tannishtha Chatterjee recently slammed TV show Comedy Nights Bachao after she was 'roasted' for her dark skin. However she received an apology from Colors, the channel which airs the show (Tannishtha Chatterjee: I was warned not to go to Comedy Nights Bachao, Sept 28)
