Rajkummar Rao and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Stree enjoys a huge fanbase. The movie became an instant hit among the masses ever since its release in 2018. From the chemistry between the entire cast, their comic timings to the songs, every part of the film is cherished by the fans. Well, the makers of the movie had announced the sequel of the film when Shraddha had shot for the song Thumkeshwari. Now, Jio Studios has revealed the movie’s date of release.
The renowned production company, recently, hosted a star-studded event where they announced 100 movies and web shows that they will be releasing. In the long list of projects, they also announced Stree 2’s release date as well as the return of Varun Dhawan’s Bhediya. Both the movies are produced by Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Productions and are a part of their horror comedy universe. ALSO READ: WOW! Talking about the release dates, Stree 2 is all set to grace the big screens on August 31, 2024. The movie will not only see Rajkummar and Shraddha reprising their roles, but Abhishek Banerjee, Pankaj Tripathi and Aparshakti Khurana too will be a part of the movie. As for Bhediya 2, the movie is slated for a release in 2025. Fans have been left excited to know how Stree’s story will unfold in the second instalment. Being one of the first man-turned-werewolf stories, Bhediya had received a lot of mixed reactions from the audience. While it became an average grosser at the box-office the Varun Dhawan-Kriti Sanon starrer was also a hit among the audience. While no details about this sequel were revealed, it has surely created chatter on the internet.
