Ranbir Kapoor On Kangana Ranaut’s Allegations Of Him Being Apolitical: "I Know Who I Am And What I Say"
Kangana Ranaut has no filter when it comes to voicing her opinions. The actress has time and again targeted several celebs and of late, she has chosen Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt. While the latter has silently given it back to Ms Ranaut, it is for the first time that RK Junior reacted on Kangana’s allegations against him.

It was during the success party of Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi that Kangana had said, “I don’t have any intention to join politics or an election campaign of a political party. Many people feel that I want to enter politics but that’s not true. There are few actors in our industry like Ranbir Kapoor where he has been seen talking in an interview that ‘We have regular supply of water and electricity at my home so, why should I comment about politics?’ But I feel because of this country’s people you are living in your luxurious home and you are travelling in your Mercedes so, how can you talk like that? This is irresponsible behaviour and I am not that kind of person.”

At a recent event in the city, Ranbir Kapoor in his response said, “Whatever anyone’s asks me I do answer it. I don’t have any interest in giving answers to these questions. People can say whatever they want. I know who I am and what I say.”

Just a month ago, Kangana had attacked Alia Bhatt for not standing by her during Manikarnika. When Alia was asked about it, she had said, “I hope she doesn’t dislike me. I don’t think I have done anything intentionally to upset her and if I have then I will apologise to her on a personal level. But, I have always said this that I have admired her a lot as an actor and as a person and she is very outspoken. It takes tremendous courage to be that way and I was not aware of this problem or anything. So, what can I say, I don’t want to upset anybody”

Later, Kangana Ranaut targeted both the actors for holding themselves back when it comes to voicing their opinions regarding issues related to the country.

Yet again, the Raazi actress was questioned by a section of media and she gracefully replied that she has an opinion but she would keep it to herself. “I do not have that ability to speak as candidly as Kangana does and I really, really respect her for that. Maybe in a way she is right. Sometimes we do hold back, or maybe we think that ‘kyu khamakha bolne jayein (why should we speak uselessly). My dad always says there are already so many opinions in the world, the world can do with one less opinion. So I have an opinion but I will keep it to myself. Kudos to her, she genuinely speaks very well,” said Alia.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ranbir and Alia will be seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra next, that also stars Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy in it. Kangana will be seen in Mental Hai Kya opposite Rajkummar Rao, followed by Ashwiny iyer Tiwari’s Panga and will also announce her next directorial venture very soon.
