Katrina Kaif and Alia Bhatt may be declaring to the world that all’s well between them despite Ranbir Kapoor having broken up with the former and moved on to the latter, but this incident is proof that there is more to this than meets the eye. The two ladies came face-to-face at Shah Rukh Khan’s Diwali bash and things got A.W.K.W.A.R.D.

An eyewitness present at the bash told us, “It’s not that Alia and Katrina cannot see eye to eye but they are not friends for sure.The two came under one roof last night and exchanged pleasantries, that’s all. They even clicked a picture together (which is doing the rounds of social media) however, clearly, hung around in different groups and the cold vibes between them were palpable to those around them. Katrina exited the party before Alia.”

Once upon a time, Katrina and Alia were besties. The two hit the same gym and their workout videos were a social media sensation. The two even appeared together on Neha Dhupia’s chat show BFFs with Vogue. However, soon after, reports of Alia’s growing closeness to Ranbir began doing the rounds and it is said that this is when the cracks began to appear in their friendship. Finally, it was established that the Raazi actress is indeed dating the actor. But, Katrina hinted that nothing has gone wrong between the friends by congratulating Alia for Raazi’s success. The latter went ahead and wished Kat on her birthday.

At an event, when Alia was asked why Katrina’s ‘likes’ have disappeared from her pictures, she had said, “I don’t check my Instagram likes. So, I don’t know why people are checking that? But I have to admit I have always been very fond of Katrina. I believe that it’s the same both ways, according to us. So, I don’t know why other people feel differently? But now I will send her a message to start liking my pictures because if that’s the barometer of friendship then we must start liking everyone’s picture. Or maybe, I don’t have good pictures. But with her, I have no stress whatsoever.” Well, relationships are complicated and it’s never easy to forget.
