Rani’s First Film After Pregnancy To Go On Floors In April
It’s finally happening! Rani Mukerji has begun prepping to face the cameras after a hiatus of 3 years and we are thrilled
For a long time now, speculations have been rife that Rani Mukerji, who was last seen as the gritty cop in YRF’s Mardaani (2014), is all set to return to the big screen with another film under the production house.
Now, SpotboyE.com can tell you that the whispers doing the rounds are true and the project, helmed by We Are Family director, Siddharth P Malhotra, will go on floors in April.
Says a source, “The film’s script has taken shape and Rani is now prepping to face the arc lights again. She has around 45 days to get fit and trim. The male lead of the project is yet to be decided.”

Reports suggest that like Mardaani, this venture will also deal with a strong social issue. Siddharth, Aditya Chopra and Rani are currently working the modalities out.
At the moment, Rani is a hands-on mom to Adira, who has now turned 14-months- old.
The actress is very excited about the freshness of the Siddharth's film script and is confident that she will balance her time between Adira and the film comfortably.
We are looking forward to Rani’s comeback on the big screen as she is a convincing actress, no matter the part. Also, the film being a YRF project, it will be a double bonanza for the viewers.
