Rehna Hai Tere Dil Main actors Saif Ali Khan and R Madhavan were about to share screen space after a long gap of 17 years. The news had sent their fans in a frenzy. However, R Madhavan’s shoulder injury has forced him to opt out of the project.
As per a report in Mumbai Mirror, Madhavan had already started prepping for his part by taking horse riding classes at Amateur Riders' Club in Mumbai but was injured unexpectedly. While talking to a leading tabloid, Madhavan said, “I am injured badly and out of any film shoot for the next two months. Right now I’m just taking total rest.”
Meanwhile, Saif Ali Khan has already started shooting for the film in Desuri, Rajasthan. It is expected to have high-octane action sequences. R Madhavan tweeted to his fans about his injury. He wrote, “Shoulder surgery done... fighter back on track... cannot feel my right arm ha ha ha...”
The actor was last seen in a web thriller series Breathe, which explores the life of an ordinary man who finds himself in extraordinary circumstances. He will also be seen along with Sushant Singh Rajput and Nawazuddin Siddiqui in Chanda Mama Door Ke, touted to be India’s first space movie.
Meanwhile, Saif who is shooting with complete gusto for the movie recently had Bebo and Taimur join him on-the-sets of the film in Rajasthan. He was seen playing cricket while Bebo and baby Taimur were seen cheering him on.
A source confirmed to a leading daily, “Saif has been shooting in a village called Desuri in Rajasthan (that is two hours away from Udaipur) for the yet-untitled Navdeep Singh film, which also stars R Madhavan and Sonakshi Sinha in key roles. As he is stationed in Udaipur, Bebo decided to pay him a visit with Taimur in tow. They will zoom off to different places as they love to travel."
Coming back to Madhavan opting out of the film, we would say fans are surely disappointed with the news.
