On Republic Day 2021, Amitabh Bachchan wished for peace, prosperity and safety of all. He wrote, "6th January .. Republic Day Happiness peace prosperity and .. be safe .. be protected." On the other hand, John Abraham announced the release date of his next film Satyameva Jayate 2. The name itself suggests that the film will be high on patriotism and Republic Day is the best day to make the announcement.

Taapsee Pannu too made a tweet wishing everyone as she wrote, "On 72nd Republic Day here’s wishing and hoping that we all read and understand our constitution as much as we celebrate it. Priyanka Chopra shared an interesting fact about women in Governance whilst wishing everyone Happy Republic Day. "Did you know that there were 15 women in the first Constituent Assembly of India and that they helped draft the Constitution of India?
