The lead actors of Welcome To New York chose a very unique way to launch the poster of the film. Karan Johar took to his Twitter and posted a video of himself Diljit Dosanjh, Sonakshi Sinha, Rana Daggubati, Riteish Deshmukh, Lara Dutta and Boman Irani indulging in a funny banter.
He wrote, “And today, all the online goss is about a leaked conversation from a new film. #WelcomeToNewYork http://bit.ly/WelcomeToNewYork-ChatLeaked…@poojafilms @WizFilmsIN (sic).”

The video begins with a conference call between Diljit and Sonakshi who say, “Yeh meri film hai.” The call is ultimately joined by the rest of the cast and there is a tug of war with each one claiming that the film is theirs. During the course of conversation, Karan Johar announced that he will be acting in the film. To which Riteish said, “You have already scared people with your acting.”
