The country is currently fighting against the second wave of the COVID-19 crisis. And, several Bollywood celebrities are doing their best to help. Many have come forward and extended support by donating oxygen concentrators, supplies and spreading awareness. Sonu Sood, Akshay Kumar, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, Abhishek Bachchan, Alia Bhatt and others are constantly helping. Now, filmmaker Rohit Shetty also joined the lot. He made a generous donation to a COVID-19 care facility amidst the crisis. Politician Manjinder Singh Sirsa made a tweet and thanked the filmmaker.

Manjinder Singh Sirsa shared a picture of Rohit Shetty and tweeted, “He might be a Khatron ka Khiladi on screen; but behind the scene, he is a compassionate one who cares for humanity. Thanking Rohit Shetty for donating a significant amount to our COVID Care Facility May this service come back as multiple BLESSINGS Rohit Ji” The politician mentioned about Shetty’s donation. He then thanked the filmmaker for donating a significant amount to the COVID Care Facility. The politician hoped that the service comes back as multiple blessings to Rohit Shetty.

Meanwhile, Rohit Shetty is hosting the show Khatron Ke Khiladi 11. The contestants of KKK 11 jetted off to South Africa’s Cape Town where the show will be shot. The participants left for Cape Town on Thursday night. Work-wise, Shetty has the film Sooryavanshi in the pipeline. The film is expected to release soon. The makers postponed the release date due to the COVID-19 lockdown.
