Saand Ki Aankh Song Aasma: Taapsee Pannu And Bhumi Pednekar’s Courage And Asha Bhosle’s Magical Voice Will Motivate You To Stay Strong
After the peppy numbers Udta Teetar and Womaiya, the makers of Saand Ki Aankh have released a new song, titled, Aasma which is sung by the legendary singer, Asha Bhosle
Saand Ki Aankh starring Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar is grabbing a lot of attention, right from the two leading ladies portraying grown-up characters, to facing criticism for actually portraying grown-up roles onscreen. However, this is not affecting the team and is doing every possible thing to ensure that their film reaches to the mass audience. After treating us two peppy numbers, Udta Teetar and Womaniya, the makers have dropped a new song, titled, Aasma which seems to be sad track. The song is crooned by the legendary singer, Asha Bhosle.
In the song video, the Tomar sisters- Prakashi and Chandro are seen motivating her daughters who have failed to achieve the goal. The video shows how they rebuilt their dreams and the institute where the Tomar sisters and their daughters used to learn shooting. After their dreams were crushed, the men of the village mock the women but the badass dadis, not giving up on their dreams, rises and again and fights for her goals.
While talking about the song, Asha Bhosle’s magical voice is sheer magic to your ears. After a long time, we are hearing her again and it is pretty impressive. The music is composed by Vishal Mishra and the lyrics are penned down by Raj Shekhar. Watch the song below:
Talking about the movie, Saand Ki Aankh is based on a true and incredible story. Johri village in the interiors of Uttar Pradesh was just like any other village in India. But during this time something extraordinary happened which took this village by surprise and saw the village from national to international levels of success and fame. As a result of which this village had become an inspiring example for the entire nation.
Apart from Taapsee Pannu and Bhumi Pednekar, the film also has a talented ensemble star cast including Prakash Jha, Vineet Singh Kumar among others are also seen in the pivotal roles.
