Saif Ali Khan Says Being Less Successful To Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan And Aamir Khan Was A 'Really Good Thing' For Him As An Actor
Saif Ali Khan is one of the most popular stars in Bollywood. The actor made his acting debut in Yash Chopra's film Parampara but achieved success with his roles in Yeh Dillagi and Main Khiladi Tu Anari. The actor later went on to star in many films including Dil Chahta Hai, Kal Ho Naa Ho, Salaam Namaste, Parineeta, Kurbaan, Omkara and more. As many are aware, he did not enjoy the same success as the other Khans - Aamir Khan, Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan.

In a recent interview with Film Companion, Saif talked about the same and agreed that it actually worked in his favour. He said that being less successful was a good thing for him as an actor. 'I have to say these guys - Shah Rukh, Salman and Aamir were kind of born somehow to be actors. I think it must have been a childhood ambition. Certainly, I know it was for two of them. I don't know if it was Salman's ambition anyway but he was certainly built for it and made for the kind of success he saw,' said Saif.

He further added, 'I joined movies at a time where you got to aim to either be a superstar or not bother. And there's a point there. It wasn't really about nuance, a different kinds of characters.. all that has happened now.' He said that another reason he experimented with different roles is that he became more interested in acting and understands it better now.

Saif Ali Khan is currently impressing fans by taking up challenging and interesting roles. He was recently seen in the Amazon Prime series Tandav. The actor has interesting projects in the pipeline. He will be seen in Bunty Aur Babli 2, Adipurush and Bhoot Police.
