Saina: Parineeti Chopra Reveals Saina Nehwal Shared The Minutest Details Of Her Life, Helping The Actress Prepare For The Flick
Parineeti Chopra shared that badminton champion Saina Nehwal did not hold back in sharing deets of her life for the biopic
After entertaining us with The Girl On The Train, Parineeti Chopra is all set to entertain us with her upcoming movie, Saina, a biopic based on badminton champion Saina Nehwal. The actress, time and again, had shared how she prepared for the movie. She was asked during an interview with Bombay Times, how the legend helped her prepare for it. And guess what, the actress shared how Saina gave every little detail of her life to make this film look perfect on screen.
Parineeti in 2019 and 2020 was in constant touch with the ace badminton player and Saina too being kind enough did not hold back and gave out every minutest detail about her. Pari said, “Between 2019 and 2020, I must have sent her messages daily, tapping her for the smallest details about her life, and she has been so kind and sweet to answer every query in detail. Saina was with me all along because she also wanted to ensure this goes right.”
Pari shared that Saina also shared she is a huge fan of Shahn Rukh Khan and makers made sure to inculcate it in the film. “She had told us things about herself, even the fact that she loves Shah Rukh Khan, and we made sure we included that in the story,” adds the actress.
Further sharing her sweet love story, followed by her wedlock to Parupalli Kashyap, “She told us very casually about her love story and how she got married to Parupalli Kashyap. While Pari feels the movie might come across as filmy with the minutest details present in it, she shares that’s how Saina has led her life. “Yes, you might find things a little magnified in a filmy way, but the film is entirely the way she has led her life,” said Pari.
