Bollywood actor Salman Khan and his family’s safety is one of the most discussed topics in the country right now. Fans were left worried when news of gunshots being fired at his Bandra apartment by two unidentified individuals on Sunday morning, at 5 am, made the headlines. From CCTV footages to videos and photos of the alleged accused surfacing the internet, netizens have been extending their well-wishes and solidarity towards the family. According to a new report by News18, the Mumbai police have traced the Facebook page's IP address, which took responsibility for the firing.
In a bid to understand if the threat issued to the 58-year-old actor was legitimate or through a fake account with Anmol Bishnoi’s name. It is to be noted that gangster Lawrence Bishnoi has a brother with the same name. He has been sending out death threats to Khan for a long time now. The account had taken full responsibility for the firing incident. As reported by the media publication, the ongoing probe revealed that the IP address of the profile is from Canada. The officials suspect that a VPN could’ve been used for the Facebook post. The report further states that the Mumbai police have reached out to the officials in Gurugram and Harayana after an official source belonging to Delhi police stated that one of the accused is suspected to be a criminal from Gurugram. If the reports are to be believed, Bishnoi’s gans is behind the firing incident and the attack was carried out by Rohit Godara, who operates the gang in Rajasthan. One of the accused has been identified as Vishal aka Kalu. He works in Godara. The officials have sought help to get a background of the accused and help them trace them or their families.
According to a report by the FPJ, the Bandra police registered a First Information Report (FIR) against the “unidentified person,” under Section 307 (attempt to murder) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and the Arms Act. A photo of the two alleged accused has also surfaced on the internet, leaving the netizens fuming. If reports are to be believed, gangster Lawrence Bishnoi's brother Anmol Bishnoi, took responsibility for the shooting that happened outside Salman Khan’s apartment. He made the shocking revelation through a social media post on Facebook.
