If all goes well, Salman Khan will launch Mahesh Manjrekar’s Daughter Ashwami in the 3rd instalment of his hit franchise, Dabangg
Salman Khan has been continuously introducing new faces into the Industry. Right from Sooraj Pancholi-Athiya Shetty to his brother-in-law Aayush Sharma, the superstar’s recent discoveries were Monish Bahl’s daughter, Pranutan and Zaheer Iqbal in Notebook. Now, it’s being reported that Salman will soon introduce two new faces into the showbiz – sister Alvira Agnihotri and Vivek Agnihotri’s daughter Alizeh and Mahesh Manjrekar’s daughter Ashwami.
While Alizeh is currently undergoing training for Indian dance forms under the supervision of veteran choreographer Saroj Khan, it’s reported that Manjrekar’s daughter will make her debut with Salman Khan’s Dabangg 3. Yes, that’s right! According to a report in DNA, Ashwami has been signed up for an important role opposite Salman in the 3rd instalmemt.
A source close to the development told the leading newspaper, “Contrary to reports, Ashwami plays a girl who is rescued by Chulbul Pandey. Like the first two instalments, which showcased a heroic entry for Chulbul, this time, too, it will be heroic, but it’s being treated differently by Salman and director Prabhudheva. Nonetheless, Ashwami plays a pivotal part that sets the tone of the narrative,”
Earlier, confirming the news of his daughter’s debut, the National Award-winning director Mahesh Manjrekar had told Mumbai Mirror, “Yes, Salman is launching my daughter. It will happen in some time. We’ll cross the bridge when we get to it. We have always bonded well. Salman is the most rooted person I have come across, a complete middle-class man in his head. He knows that I am not in awe of him, and that makes our bond special.”
Meanwhile, Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha have wrapped the first leg of Dabangg 3’s shoot in Madhya Pradesh and now will soon start shooting in Mumbai.
