Sara Ali Khan Addresses Designer Manish Malhotra As ‘Mummy’ For Treating Her With Delicious Dinner; See Photos
Sara Ali Khan was accompanied by her mother Amrita Singh for a dinner, hosted by designer Manish Malhotra Saturday night
Ace designer Manish Malhotra, along with dressing up the stars of Bollywood, loves to host lunches and dinners at his abode for them. After hosting Janhvi Kapoor and her sister Khushi Kapoor for dinner, Manish welcomed Sara Ali Khan and her mother, veteran actress Amrita Singh to his place. Sara later took to Instagram to thank the designer, and also posted her yummy looking dinner plate. They were also accompanied by celebrity stylist, Ami Patel.
The main highlight of the Instagram story, however, was Sara addressed Manish as her "mummy" for treating her to a delicious dinner. She wrote, “Thank you for the yummy dinner and the lovely evening.” The picture has Sara posing with Manish Malhotra, her mother Amrita and stylist Ami. She looked pretty in a crisp white shirt, tucked inside a blue pair of ripped denim. She let her hair loose with a middle partition, carried a neon pink slingback and wore heels coordinating with her bag.
In yet another story, Sara posted a picture of the dinner spread, which included dal, veggies, roti, rice, meat and a few other dishes. “Mummy was Manish Malhotra," the caption said.
Manish had earlier also hosted Gauri Khan, Seema Khan, Maheep Kapoor and Esha Deol at dinner; and Kareena Kapoor, Karisma Kapoor, Malaika Arora and Amrita Arora at lunch. On the work front, Sara Ali Khan was last seen in Coolie No.1 opposite Varun Dhawan. She is now awaiting the release of Aanand L Rai’s Atrangi Re, co-starring Akshay Kumar and Dhanush. The movie was supposed to release in the first half of 2021 but was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
