During a recent awards gala, Kartik Aryan was asked that who among Sara Ali Khan and Ananya Panday would he take on a date. Here’s what he had to say
Sara Ali Khan openly expressed a desire to date Kartik Aaryan during her appearance on Koffee With Karan 6. This indeed put the actor on the spot and when he was asked to react to the actress’ wish, he had said, “I don’t know what to say to that. All I can say is that she is very pretty and I am looking forward to her film.” When prodded further he said, “Haan coffee peena chahoonga.”
Days later, Kartik was seen exiting Soho House along with Ananya Panday post dinner. The two left in the same car and were seen chatting away as the shutterbugs. It’s unclear whether a film is in the offing or it was a mere case of two friends hanging out.
Now, in a video going viral on social media, during a recent awards gala, the actor was asked, who amongst Sara and Ananya would he like to take on a date? To which, he says, “Let’s see.” On being insisted for an answer, he simply states, “Pass.” He was also asked about his first celebrity crush and without batting an eyelid, he reveals, “Kareena Kapoor.”
Meanwhile, Sara and Kartik are all set to work together in Imtiaz Ali’s directorial . A source close to the makers had told Asian Age, “It is incredible that an actor is not just being approached for many films before her debut, but is also gutsy enough to sign on fresh films before her release. Normally, actors especially the star kids wait till the release of their debut film to see the response so that they can position their career graph and also work on the monies that they will get in the future. Sara, on the contrary, seems to be following her instinct on signing film projects."
