On the midnight of November 14, Abhishek
Kapoor did the unimaginable! He tweeted that his upcoming film, Kedarnath
starring Sushant Singh Rajput and Sara Ali Khan, will clash with Shah Rukh Khan’s
dwarf film being helmed by Aanand L Rai –December 21, 2018.

While the announcement is shocking in itself, what made
it even worse is that the filmmaker tweeted without consulting the producers –
Prernaa Arora and Arjun N Kapoor (KriArj Entertainment).
Coincidentally, Prernaa had a cordial meeting with
Shah Ruh Khan at Mannat, where the two discussed everything including a
future project together a few days before this tweet was posted.

Imagine the embarrassment!
However, SpotboyE.com now has it Kedarnath WILL NOT clash
with SRK’s film. Abhishek can continue to live in his own world but his tweet
stands null and void.

The makers have taken the (right) call to avert a clash
and work around the release date.

Logically, why would the makers hamper the commercial
aspect of the film by clashing with one of the biggest stars of the country?
Kedarnath has already been delayed courtesy Abhishek. It
was Gattu who sacked team members amidst the shoot and disrupted
production modalities due to which the film was halted for a while. He
also had a tiff with Sushant Singh Rajput. In such a scenario, the
budget has already mounted and locking horns with Shah Rukh will only be double
whammy.

Plus, it’s Sara Ali Khan’s debut. Why would the team want
to split screens with SRK and thwart Kedarnath’s business?
Nonetheless, things and back on track now. And, we wish,
this move by the makers has taught Abhishek Kapoor a lesson.
