Shark Tank India 2 Irks Fans; Netizens Scream ‘SCRIPTED SHOW’ As Actor Parul Gulati Pitches Her Hair Extention Brand
Shark Tank India viewers are irked by season 2 which premiered on January 2 and many have noted how the highly anticipated TV show is totally scripted. The latest claims come as the show enters the finale week.

In the last episode, actress Parul Gulati appeared on the show to pitch her human hair extension brand called Nishhair. However, the segment of the show did not go well with the viewers and many have claimed that the show screams ‘scripted’.

For those unaware, Parul has appeared in several Punjabi movies, Hindi TV shows and web series. During her pitch, she revealed that she got the idea when a production house refused to pay for her hair extensions. She also told the sharks that besides working as an actress she is now running her business too. She asked for Rs 1 crore investment for 2 percent equity.

Peyush Bansal, Anupam Mittal and Namita Thapar opted out, however, Vineeta Singh and Aman Gupta jointly offered Rs 1 crore for 3 percent equity. On the other hand, Amit accepted 2 percent equity for Rs 1 crore investment and hence he sealed the deal.

One of the users argued that the show’s entire motive was helping new and small emerging entrepreneurs who genuinely need your help, and the entire Parul Gulati segment goes against the idea.

A user wrote, "Yaar she is already famous and doing well… you guys should help New and Small emerging Entrepreneurs who genuinely need your help! #sharktankindia you really need to do better."

Another pointed out, "Some of the negative message Shark Tank Season 2 is spreading: 1. Valuation is important over profit. 2. Entrepreneurs who's own businesses are under heavy loss are looking for profits. 3. Entrepreneurs are giving their equity like extra sukha poori. 4. Entrepreneurship is entertainment. Etc."

A few others wrote, "Anupam yaha pighal gya"; "You  are more popular than all of them combined”; "I wish we could showcase actual small businesses and people who actually have insufficient funds, aren’t famous on social media, have no business connections. We need something raw and real"; "Ab ye show bhi Roadies aur big boss ki tarah barbaad hone wala hai ...likh lo”; "Why this is sounding like a scripted show."

That’s not all, in the episode, Vineeta Singh and her husband Kaushik Mukherjee turned pictures and pitched their brand Sugar Cosmetics to five Sharks. They got a dream deal of Rs 5 crore by all five Sharks.
