Model-actress-VJ Shibani Dandekar turned a year older amidst the company of her close friends, including her partner, actor-filmmaker Farhan Akhtar, last Friday. The actress began the day with a surprise as she unveiled her newest tattoo to the world, the name of her beau Farhan on her neck. Farhan, on the other hand, posted a short and sweet wish for her with a loved-up pic of the two on Instagram.
Yesterday, Shibani took to social media to share with her fans what a lovely birthday she has had this year. She wrote, “Had such a special bday with special friends and this special guy! The past year has taught me to celebrate the smallest of moments... super blessed and very grateful. I’m blown away every year by the beautiful messages and insane amount of love! Thank you to each and every one of you! still getting through them all! heart is full! #42 I’m ready for you... let’s go!”

While celebs like Hrithik Roshan, Maanvi Gagroo, Huma Qureshi and Freida Pinto used the comment section to wish her a happy birthday, Shibani’s close friend and actress Rhea Chakraborty couldn’t stop gushing over her friend’s beauty, saying, “But look at that jawline.”
And Shibani’s fans were left bemused and shocked to see that the actress is in her 40s. One fan wrote, “Oh you got it wrong, darling! It’s 24!!”, while another one mentioned, “Who knew she is turning 42. I thought she is just in her late 20's. I wish I slay like her in my 40's”, and we couldn’t agree more.
