Sonali Bendre Wants To Make A Comeback To Films But Conditions Apply; No ‘Rona Dhona’ Roles Please
Sonali Bendre is an inspiration for many for fighting cancer like a warrior. The actress was in New York for a while where she was getting treated for cancer. However, after defeating the deadly disease, the actress has been on a strict diet and rigorously working out to maintain her lifestyle and physique and also to get back to her normal self after her intense chemotherapy sessions. Now that the actress is in the pink of her health, Sonali is keen to make a comeback soon.

While talking to Times Of India, Sonali said that she is definitely interested in starring in movies. She will take up the roles that come her way, and if she likes it, she will readily do it. Sonali was also asked if the illness altered her choice of scripts and to which she said that it has because that is what is important to her as it is important to find joy in her work. She further was quoted saying she will not pick up any roles just because it pays well and wants to do less rona dhona roles as she has had enough of that.

What’s more important for Sonali is that she should enjoy the role she is playing. Post the illness, there are a lot of factors which dictate her choice of work, concluded Bendre.

Now that she has shown her interest in working in the movies again, we can’t wait to see her onscreen. She was last seen in Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobara which starred Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha and Imran Khan.
