Sonam Kapoor is
having a tight schedule! Firstly, the
actress got married to her boyfriend Anand Ahuja on May 8, after which she took
off to French Riviera and made heads turns with her appearances at prestigious
films festival, Cannes 2018. After walking the
red carpet, the actress returned to the city and started promoting her upcoming
chick-flick, Veere Di Wedding along with her co-stars, Kareena Kapoor, Swara
Bhasker and Sikha Talsania.
Post their
big-fat Punjabi wedding, everyone was curious to know, whether the newlyweds
will shift to Delhi, or into their plush apartment at Bandra Kurla Complex. Interestingly,
Sonam has no plans of shifting to Delhi, or to her flat in BKC. She is instead
looking at renting a flat in Juhu for the time being as her BKC flat will take
another year to get ready.
While talking to
Bombay Times, the actress was asked about the same. Sonam revealed, “Right now,
I’m staying at my parents’ place in Juhu. I am doing up our house in BKC, but
it will take us at least a year to get it done. In the interim, we are also
looking to rent a place, but we haven’t found anything yet. I would love to
live somewhere around Juhu, it’s more convenient. We also considered buying a
place, but it doesn’t make sense to spend so much on a new house if we are
planning to move into the BKC apartment after a year.”
Later, she added,
“Both of us love London and we have invested in a place there, too. It’s a
two-bedroom house and something we’re very proud of.”
Well, we can’t
wait to see Sonam-Anand’s love nest, wherever it is.
