Sonu Sood has been winning hearts with several good deeds since March 2020, now the actor has added one feather to his cap. The Happy New Year actor has been announced as the hottest vegetarian celebrity of 2020 by PETA, the actor shared the picture of the appreciation token on his social media account, thanking the PETA India organization. Along with him, Street Dancer 3D actress Shraddha Kapoor was also awarded with this token of appreciation. This definitely deserves a round of applause for both the actors.
 
The official website of the organization shared of the actor participating in their print campaign titled as ‘Hug a Vegetarian’ day. Sonu also supported their appeals for the popular food chain McDonald’s to include a McVegan burger on their meal. The actor has also rescued a pigeon while he was playing cricket with his son. Besides him, the organization was all praises for Shraddha Kapoor for quitting meat and turning vegetarian. 

The actress on her social media account, spoke about horrible attack on a pregnant cow, Shraddha has always stood for animal rights and fought for it asking for justice. 


PETA's earlier winners were Miss World Manushi Chillar, football player Sunil Chhetri, actors such as Anushka Sharma, Kartik Aaryan, Vidyut Jammwal, Kangana Ranaut, Shahid Kapoor, Rekha, Amitabh Bachchan and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Shraddha Kapoor will be next seen in Luv Ranjan helmed film co-starring Ranbir Kapoor. Meanwhile, Sonu Sood too has begun filming for his upcoming projects in Bollywood as well as down south.
