Soon-To-Be Mum Neha Dhupia On Watching Kriti Sanon’s Mimi: ‘It Was Very Tough To Watch A Pregnant Woman Go Through All That’-EXCLUSIVE
Neha Dhupia is currently going through the third trimester of her second pregnancy with husband Angad Bedi, with whom she already has a two-and-a-half years old daughter Mehr. The actress insists that her husband is taking care of her really well during this time and it’s especially his cooking skills and sense of humour that serve the best in pampering her.

Neha shares that Angad is inherently funny and everything he says is hilarious. “I can be having a meltdown since I am also hormonal right now, but he always manages to make me smile. It's our Saturday night thing to watch films since all the time we have Mehr duty and other things to do, so the other day, we decided to watch two movies back-to-back, with Mimi being one of them,” she shares.

Watching Mimi turned out to be a more difficult thing for Neha than she could have imagined and it was Angad’s sense of humour that helped her get through it. “Watching Mimi for me was the hardest thing ever. It was a very tough day in my life to watch a pregnant woman go through all that and I don’t want to give away anything from the film but there were some beats in it including the mother-child relationship that hit me really hard emotionally. It was 2 in the night and I was bawling my eyes out. I had swollen eyes, due to crying so much and he was saying such funny things. I remember writing to Kriti about it, and Angad made it all hilarious. He always keeps the humour alive,” she gushes.

Neha maintains that going through pregnancy isn’t as breezy as some people say and the support of your partner is extremely important in that phase. “Pregnancy is not easy. Everyone has different needs and ways to go through it and you want to make sure that you are padded with the right people in your life. You are not pregnant alone, even your partner is in it as much. The hardest part is that sometimes you feel helpless and don’t know what to do, but Angad gets it and he knows exactly what I need in such times. There are also times when you want to be left alone, and he gives me that space too,” she raves.
