Sridevi To Be Honoured At Cannes; Janhvi & Khushi & Boney To Attend
Sridevi will be at honoured at Cannes Film Festival on May 16. The event will see Boney Kapoor with his two daughters, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor in attendance.
Legendary actress Sridevi, who passed away in a hotel room at Dubai due to accidental drowning on February 24, will be honoured at the Cannes Film Festival on May 16.
The tribute, which will be held at Le Majestic Beach, Cannes, will see Boney Kapoor with his two daughters, Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor in attendance.

It will be a special evening of memories, anecdotes, and visual footage of her best performances.
Expressing his gratitude towards the special salute, Boney Kapoor told Hindustan Times, "I'm happy that people from the world over are recognising her body of work and her contribution to cinema. Even though the overwhelming emptiness of losing her remains, its comforting to know that she lives on through her work."

Late Sridevi’s Cannes tribute comes after she won the National Award honour. She was posthumously awarded the Best Actress Award for her marvellous performance in Mom (2017).
Few hours back, we told you that the Supreme Court has dismissed a petition seeking an independent probe into the case of her death. The plea in question had been filed by an Uttar Pradesh resident.
