Proof is in the pudding, errm, this case, it’s in the picture. Akansha Ranjan shared an Instagram story featuring the Indian opener last evening. Her man in blue was the star at ICC World Cup 2019 India Vs Srilanka game last evening. Along with Rohit Sharma, KL Rahul scored a century in yesterday’s game, putting up 189 runs for the first wicket. Powered by his bat, India beat Sri Lanka by 7 wickets at Headingley in Leeds. Naturally, just like all of us back home, KL Rahul’s ladylove too was mighty impressed.
In May this year, we told you that Akansha is devoting a large amount of her spare time to KL Rahul- from dinner scenes to movie dates to house parties. KL Rahul who made a comeback of sorts after a poor run with the bat and the hibernation inflicted by his appearance in Koffee With Karan Season 6 (that infamous episode with Hardik Pandya) was in fact spotted praying in Mount Mary Church (no prizes for guessing that one of his wishes was to come up trumps in the World Cup '19) with Akansha.
