Suniel Shetty’s daughter Athiya Shetty is dating Indian cricketer KL Rahul and the couple is likely to get married soon. Athiya-KL Rahul’s wedding has been the talk of the town with every now and then reports of their marriage dates making headlines. Recently, it was reported that the lovebirds will walk down the aisle in January next year and that preparation for this big fat wedding is going on in full swing. Now, Suniel has reacted to Athiya and Rahul's January wedding rumours.
Speaking with Etimes, he gave a sarcastic reaction saying to let him know when the dates are confirmed so that he can attend it. Sunil, who was spotted at the trailer launch of his show Dharavi Bank, was quoted saying, “Let me know when you get the confirmed dates so I can attend (the wedding).” The Dhadkan actor even mentioned that the wedding is very much on the cards and that it will soon take place. In November, Suniel confirmed his daughter's wedding and stated it will happen soon as he is looking at the possible dates. He told TOI that he is figuring out dates favorable to both Athiya and Rahul considering their hectic work schedules. The 61-year-old actor said, “I am looking at the possible dates. With both their schedules, we are figuring out things. Hopefully soon, we will know when and where will it (wedding) happen. I guess at the right time, everyone will know [details about the wedding].”
Meanwhile, Suniel Shetty was recently seen in the web show Dharavi Bank which started streaming on MX Player on November 19.
