Sushant Singh Rajput Death Case: Bombay HC To Announce Its Decision On Rhea Chakraborty’s Bail Plea Today
As per reports in Times Of India, Bombay High Court will give out its verdict on Rhea Chakraborty’s bail plea today
Late actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s alleged girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty has been in custody since September 8, 2020. After the drug angle in SSR’s death came to light, followed by Rhea confessing of procuring drugs for him, she was arrested by the police for being an active member in the drug nexus. Now as per reports in Times of India, Bombay High Court will be pronouncing its verdict on the bail plea today of the actress along with her brother Showik Chakraborty and three others arrested by NCB.
Meanwhile, while the actress who is put behind the bars, her judicial custody is said to be extended from October 6 to October 20, 2020 on Tuesday by a special court which falls under the Narcotic Drug and Psychotropic Substances. The actor passed away on June 14 at his Bandra residence, where he was found hanging. Rhea’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde had mentioned in his statement that the actress was with him till June 8 and hence she can’t be booked for non-bailable section just for procuring banned substances for him and his friends.
Followed by which he has stated no drugs have been recovered and she was booked merely on the basis of old chats.
