Rhea Chakraborty turned a year old on July 1, 2021, the actress who must have received warm birthday messages on her 29th birthday, took to social media to thank everyone for their warm wishes. On her Insta Stories, she penned a message thanking everyone for their wishes and mentioned that the love she is receiving is healing her, requesting her fans to keep it coming. Her Insta Stories read, “Thank you for all your amazing birthday wishes and love, your love is healing…keep it coming”
2020 was a turbulent year for the Jalebi actress after the death of her BF Sushant Singh Rajput who died due to suicide. The actor was found dead at his Bandra residence on June 14, 2020, amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. As the case landed in the lap of CBI followed by ED and NCB, the actress was quizzed on money laundering and drugs consumption allegations made on her during the actor’s death case investigation. Rhea was put behind the bars for 28 days and was only released after the Bombay High Court granted her bail.

Besides this, she was reported to be considered for the role of Draupadi for a movie inspired by the mythological story, Mahabharat. The source informed, “This would be a massive project with a unique and different take on Mahabharata and the character of Draupadi. The world that it will be set in will be modern and contemporary, something that hasn’t been done before. The role of Draupadi has been offered to Rhea Chakraborty and she is considering it currently. The discussion is very initial though.”
