Sushant Singh Rajput's death by suicide is being investigated by Mumbai Police. Though the post mortem report of the actor has ruled out any foul play, many of his fans and family members are demanding a CBI inquiry in his death case. Meanwhile, senior actor Shekhar Suman reached Sushant Singh Rajput's Patna house to offer his condolences to the family. Later, he also became a part of a press conference held by Tejashwi Yadav, leader of Rashtriya Janata Dal, to talk about SSR's case. Post this, reports had it that Sushant's family is not happy with Shekhar Suman using his death for political gain, however, in his latest tweets, the senior actor has demanded support from political parties to bring justice to Sushant.

Shekhar Suman has made many tweets saying that his family is not happy with him getting involved in Sushant's matter. He wrote, "My family and friends are dead against me doing this..they feel no one is coming forward and im risking my health by travelling during Covid 19.But i can't betray the cause ive set out to do..i can't betray my heart.#justiceforSushantforum."

In the next tweet, he wrote about the support he requires from all to do the same. He wrote, "I wd need to have political support and support from all walks of life  otherwise just you and I alone cannot do this.we will be suppressed or ignored.#justiceforSushantforum #CBIEnquiryForSushantSinghRajput."
