Bollywood actress Sushmita Sen recently left everyone worried after she revealed she suffered a heart attack. Reportedly, she underwent an angioplasty at Mumbai’s Nanavati Hospital on February 27 and is now resting at home. Days after announcing her heart-attack news, Sushmita shared the first video thanking fans for sending positive energy and praying for her. She also revealed that she had a massive heart attack and that she had a 95% blockage in the main artery.
On Saturday afternoon, the Main Hoon Na actress went live from her Instagram handle and thanked fans. She also spoke about people discussing on social media whether physical exercise helps people with their health or not. She cleared that she survived a big heart because she follows an active lifestyle. In the video, Sushmita said, “I know a lot of you will stop going to the gym and say, 'see, going to the gym did not help her.' But that is not good. It did help me. I survived a very, very big heart attack. It was massive heart attack, with 95 % blockage in one of my main artery. I survived because I have kept an active lifestyle. I am very lucky to be on the other side. She also assured fans that her voice was hoarse due to a viral throat infection and that there is nothing to worry about. The 47-year-old actress also replied to a fan waiting for her to return as Aarya. Sen said she will be going to Jaipur to finish the shoot of the next season of Aarya once she gets clearance from her doctors.
Reportedly, Sushmita Sen was shooting for one of her projects when she developed discomfort in her chest. She was examined by a medical professional on the set and then she was taken to the hospital where doctors recommended an angioplasty.
