Saand Ki Aankh is up for release on October 25 and the ladies- Taapsee Panuu and Bhumi Pednekar are mighty excited for their film, which has been helmed by Tushar Hiranandani.
On a bright Thursday (Oct 17) afternoon, we met the feisty girls who were brimming with energy and joy. Our chat started with Taapsee and Bhumi, candidly announcing the release date of their film and also revealing a big surprise for the moviegoers.
The conversation, after a fun start, steered towards a bit serious yet candid topic of Rangoli Chandel and the ageism debate. We brought a story to you on Taapsee’s reaction to Rangoli’s tweets on Saand Ki Aankh, a while back.
We then asked Bhumi about she lying low on the entire matter, and the actress opened up on it fairly well. She did accept that as a person, she isn’t very “confrontational.” While Taapsee in her own cheeky way said, “If someone is talking about me, good or bad, it just means I matter, which makes me happy.”
From the entire ageism controversy, where Bhumi and Taapsee also spoke about Neena Gupta and Soni Razdan, we then asked the ladies if they are feeling the jitters about clashing with Akshay Kumar’s multi-starrer, Housefull 4.
