Taapsee Pannu Has A Classy Response On Being Called A Sasti Copy By Kangana Ranaut’s Sister Rangoli Chandel
Taapsee Pannu is often on the receiving end of trolls but is known to handle it like a boss and never lets it get in her way. Her savage attitude and the way she handles online criticism and trolls has been immensely praised by the netizens. In fact, instead of shying away from the nasty remarks on social media, she faces it head on and responds to the trolls with witty comebacks. So it was no surprise that the actress would respond to Kangana Ranaut’s sister Rangoli’s ‘sasti copy’ jibe.

Recently, Kangana Ranaut’s sister Rangoli Chandel had called Taapsee a ‘sasti copy’ of Kangana. After which, filmmaker Anurag Kashyap responded to the tweet and jumped to Taapsee’s defense. While talking to Mumbai Mirror, Taapsee has finally opened up about the spat with Rangoli and said, “Not just Anurag, a few other close friends from the industry also wanted to retort, but I stopped them because I don’t want to give her any mileage on my behalf. She can’t play the nepotism card with me because I’ve also struggled to reach where I am today. I didn’t want to engage in a word battle because I would not be able to match their language. I didn’t know there was a copyright on curly hair, which I was born with, and honest opinions. I’m not going to apologize for it. As far as being “sasti” is concerned, Kangana claims to be the highest-paid actress, so I guess I am the “sasti” version.”

On the work front, Taapsee Pannu has an interesting lineup of films and will be next seen in Mission Mangal and Saand Ki Aankh. In Mission Mangal, the Badla actress will be seen portraying the role of a scientist, while in Saand Ki Aankh she will be seen essaying the role of Prakashi Tomar, one of the oldest sharpshooters in India.

Mission Mangal, directed by Jagan Shakti will be released on August 15, 2019 and Saand Ki Aankh will hit the big screens on October 25, 2019.
