Tanushree Dutta had opposed the report that cleared Nana Patekar’s charges in the sexual harassment case and the court has now granted the actress time to file the protest petition

Tanushree Dutta Granted Time To File Petition Against Nana Patekar’s Clean Chit In Harassment Case
Nearly a month ago, Tanushree Dutta had slammed Mumbai Police for giving a clean chit to Nana Patekar, and for dismissing the sexual harassment charges against him. To oppose this B Summary Report filed by Oshiwara Police Station, the actress appeared through her legal Representatives Advocate Nitin Satpute before Ld Railway Mobile Court, Andheri.

After recording appearance, the court has granted the actress time to file protest petition to oppose B Summary Report. The entire legal Team of Tanushree Dutta was present at the court. However, not a single officer from Oshiwara police station was present in court room at the time of hearing to proceed on this matter. The Railway Mobile Court, Andheri, has now permitted Dutta's counsel to file the petition and adjourned the matter to September 7.

In September 2018, Tanushree Dutta kickstarted the #MeToo movement in Bollywood as she accused Nana Patekar of sexually harassing her on sets of Horn OK Pleasss in 2009. After that, she went on to file an FIR against Nana Patekar in this 10- year- old case. Nana Patekar denied these allegations.

In May, the Oshiwara Police Station gave a clean chit to Nana Patekar since there was no proof against him. The report also mentioned that the complaint seemed malicious and fake. Tanushree Dutta clearly didn't hold back on her claims of Nana Patekar having sexually harassed her. Despite the controversies surrounding the actor, Nana Patekar will be seen in an upcoming Hindi romantic-comedy film Tadka directed by actor Prakash Raj. The film is a remake of the 2011 Malayalam blockbuster Salt N’ Pepper.
