Daughter of late Inder Kumar, 5-year-old Svanaa Kumar is following in her dad’s footsteps. The adorable little girl has taken her first baby steps in the world of movies. She’s playing the lead in a short film called Sunshine, which was previously titled Selfless Selfies. Svanaa plays Shraddha, an orphaned child in a movie that also stars Preeti Soni.

Sunshine is a beautiful story of an orphan and her emotional struggles and difficulties. The film has a social message on how a child can change someone's life. The short film has been produced and directed by Tusha Pandey.

Inder's wife, Pallavi's close friend Deepshika Nagpal was one of the first to send her a congratulatory video message. Ditto about Apoorva Agnihotri. We bring to you the videos below:

Talking of Svanaa, the little lady is a spitting image of her father. It’s not just the love for films that she gets from Inder - little Svanaa is also a Taekwondo enthusiast, much like her father. While Inder was a black belt in the martial arts form, Svanaa is a beginner and is learning under her late father’s teacher Sadar Sheikh.

We wish Svanaa realises her dream. We like the baby steps she is taking. Daddy Dearest must also be pleased in heaven.
