Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh is known for his jokester attitude. He is often seen in a jolly mood while interacting with the media or even during the promotions of his movies. In a throwback interaction that is now going viral on the internet, Ranveer can be seen making fun of Ranbir Kapoor’s movie Bombay Velvet’s failure on two different occasions. Well, amid his recently released Cirkus receiving harsh reviews from the critics as well as the audience, the netizens are having a blast trolling him for it.
Posted on Reddit, under the segment BollyBlindsNGossip, the video shows the actor trolling the Anurag Kashyap directorial during an award ceremony and on Salman Khan’s reality show Bigg Boss where he alongside Sara Ali Khan and Rohit Shetty came to promote their film Simmba. For the unversed, Ranveer’s Bajirao Mastani and Ranbir starrer had release in the same year, while the former went on to break all records at the box-office, the latter was harshly criticized by the critics and the audience. What caught the attention of the audience was Salman Khan’s calm expression as Ranveer joked about Bombay Velvet. One fan expressed, “The thing is as a fan, we mock/ridicule failures of other actors but it's such a poor thing coming from your colleague. I have seen another clip of him making fun of bv in bigg boss during simbaa promotions and surprisingly salman was not egging him or laughing with him. On the work front, last seen in Rohit Shetty’s Cirkus, Ranveer has Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani opposite Alia Bhatt in the pipeline. The movie will mark the directorial comeback of Karan Johar. The film also stars Jaya Bachchan, Dharmendra, and Shabana Azmi in pivotal roles.
