Tiger 3: Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif Perform Customary Puja Ahead Of Salman's Pathan Shoot With Shah Rukh Khan; Emraan Hashmi Also A Part Of Ritual
Tiger 3 makers organised a customary puja before the film goes on the floor from March 8. Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Emraan Hashmi and director Maneesh Sharma were in attendance
The makers of Tiger 3 are in full form as they will begin shooting for the 3rd instalment from March 8. But before the film goes on floors, the makers organised a customary puja, that takes before commencing the shoot of every film. As the film is all set to roll from March 8, the lead actors of the film attended the puja. As per online reports, protagonists Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif and antagonist Emraan Hashmi were seen attending the puja. They were also accompanied by the director Maneesh Sharma along with other crew members.
A source close to the development revealed to ETimes, “Salman had come to YRF to shoot for Pathan with Shah Rukh Khan yesterday. As we all know YRF is creating the biggest spy franchise in the history of Indian cinema, and SRK and Salman will appear in each other’s films. Since Salman was coming to the studio, the team planned the puja on the same day and also invited Katrina for the same. Maneesh and Emraan Hashmi too was a part of this puja.”
The source went on to reveal, “On its 50th year, YRF is rolling out the biggest films being made in Bollywood or the Indian film industry today. Tiger 3 is being mounted on a scale that has not been seen before and so is Pathan. It is going to be an incredible visual and entertaining extravaganza for audiences when these films release in theatres. The energy was palpable during the puja. All the cast members were thrilled to be taking the story forward of the Tiger franchise. They spent a good one hour with each other before Salman went to shoot for Pathan.”
On the professional front, Saman Khan has quite a few projects lined up including Pathan, Tiger 3, Kabhi Eid Kabhi Diwali, while Kartina Kaif has Ranveer Singh-Akshay Kumar led Sooryavanshi and Siddhant Chaturvedi-Ishaan Khatter starrer Phone Bhoot in the pipeline.
