Tiger's 'friend' Disha benefited by Rakul Preet's 'royal ditch'

So, the young and hot Disha Patani who has been in the news for her 'friendship' with Tiger Shroff plays M S Dhoni's ex-girlfriend (Priyanka Jha) in Neeraj Pandey's upcoming M S Dhoni: The Untold Story.
But, we bet you didn't know that this 21-year old was not the first choice for the role.
In fact, it was the 25-year old South sensation Rakul Preet Singh who had been finalised as Dhoni's love interest who died in an accident.
Suddenly, Rakul ditched Neeraj leaving him in the lurch. Rakul chose to do a South film instead.
Sources have told SpotboyE.com that Rakul told Neeraj that her dates were coinciding with the dates which she had allotted to a South film which was supposed to be shot in London.
Does Rakul not have a manager who knows how to maintain her date diary? Or does she do it herself and goofed it up?
And how did Neeraj take it? Of course he didn't appreciate Rakul's dhokha but the gentleman that he is, he made no noise about it. A source says, "All that he did was to summon his casting agents and tell them to find someone to step into Rakul's shoes ASAP. The stage had almost been set and any delay would have only been detrimental."
Does Ms Patani know about this? Maybe, maybe not.
Whatever, it has been her gain all the way. Adds the source, "The buzz about the film is very good and we won't be surprised if Rakul is repenting her decision. Besides, Disha has done a wonderful job."
While this would have been Rakul's second film (she made her debut in Yaariyan), Disha makes her first Bollywood splash with the cricketer's biopic.
Meanwhile, Disha had recently told a section of the media that 'she is not dating Tiger'. Well, Tiger had told us first that things hadn't worked out between them (Tiger Roars: Disha Patani and I tried our best but... , May 2, 2016)- but after that, the two have been spotted together on more than one occasion. Let's see what the future holds for this 'friendship'.
