Troublemaker For Sara & Ranveer Changed: It's Dabangg's Chedi Singh, Sonu Sood!
This has been a developing story and we have been at it. We were the first to bring you that R Madhavan had been asked to play the baddie against Ranveer Singh in Simmba, when Abhishek Bachchan turned down the offer. Simmba has Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh's beautiful daughter Sara playing the female lead.

We now hear that things didn't work out with Maddy (as Madhavan is fondly called) and Rohit Shetty has summoned Sonu Sood to play the villain.

Sood is on cloud nine, and we hear that he immediately said 'yes' to the offer.

A source says, "It has been a very difficult task to fill up the antagonist's role in Simmba. First Bachchan Jr turned it down and Rohit was quite surprised; Abhishek and Rohit go back to the days of Bol Bachchan (2012). After that, just when Maddy had said 'yes' we learnt that some unexpected issues cropped up which led to Maddy's name being struck down."

Adds the source, "Rohit wouldn't like to delay the film at any cost. He has finalised the release date with Karan Johar (producer) as December 27 and he will be shooting pretty fast."

On the other hand, we know that Abhishek Kapoor's tantrums has led to Kedarnath being delayed. As we told you, all eyes continue to be on Rohit and Gattu on who reaches the winning post (succeeds in launching Sara) first.
