Bollywood actor Varun Dhawan, who is currently filming for the movie Bhediya in Arunachal Pradesh, recently made a tweet on his Twitter. The actor tweeted a larger-than-life common DP made by one of his fans. The ‘common DP’ featured all the characters Varun has played so far on the big screen. In the graphic, Dhawan is seen imitating late English singer George Michael’s iconic pose. While the actor went on to give the Twitterati a glimpse of the graphic made by a fan for his birthday, in return, the actor got trolled for posting it.

The Kalank actor got called out for being ‘insensitive’ and completely ignorant of the situation in the country currently. Reacting to the tweet, a Twitter user wrote, “Oh Varun, I thought you’re one of the sensible ones.” After the tweet made by the user Varun Dhawan decided to take down the graphic from his social media handle. The actor also put out a clarification, explaining his stance. He wrote, “Well it was to make someone happy who made the graphic and requested it but I guess this medium shouldn’t be used for that right now.”

Meanwhile, in the past few days, amidst the spike in COVID-19 cases in the country and the worsening situation, several Bollywood celebrities are being massively criticised on social media. Work-wise, Varun Dhawan is busy shooting the film Bhediya with actress Kriti Sanon. The movie marks their second collaboration together after 2015 film Dilwale. In between this time, Varun also shared screen space with Sanon in the song Aira Gaira from the 2019 film Kalank. Bhediya is scheduled to release on April 14, 2022. Dhawan also has Jug Jugg Jeeyo in his kitty.
