VIDEO: Shahid's Wife Mira Sees Rangoon 5 Weeks Before Release!
Usually, screenings are held just days before a film's release, but star-wife Mira got to see Rangoon 5 weeks before it hits theatres
Saif Ali Khan, Shahid Kapoor and Kangana Ranaut-starrer Rangoon has generated immense buzz owing to its fast-paced trailer and quirky songs.
Now, ahead of its release (February 27), Shahid organised a special screening of the period film last night for wife Mira and Pankaj Kapur to gauge their reactions. We also spotted director Vishal Bhardwaj with wife Rekha and producer Sajid Nadiadwala and wife Wardha at the do.
Soon after the screening, Sajid spoke to the media and gave the film thumbs up. He said that the film presents Vishal at his best and the entire cast has done a great job.

Rangoon, a romantic drama set against the backdrop of World War II, showcases the love triangle between a film producer (Saif), an army man (Shahid) and a Bollywood queen (Kangana). Vishal is collaborating with Saif for the second time after Omkara. Shahid, on the other hand, returns with the trusted filmmaker after Kaminey and Haider.
The cast of Rangoon created quite a stir ever since its announcement. Reason? This was the first time that Kareena’s former flame, Shahid and husband Saif were working together. While the shoot of the film was on, several reports of the two sharing cold vibes on sets surfaced, but Kareena went on to rubbish them saying that ‘they got along too well.’
Even during her recent appearance on Koffee With Karan, Kareena revealed that Saif and Shahid bonded well and respect each other’s work. In fact, she went on to say that she should have been cast for Kangana’s role in the project.
