This is the earliest picture of Vinod Khanna possible, and no one has ever seen him in this avatar. Such cute school boy looks, one must say.

For those who've come in late, Arshad and Vinod used to study in the same school - Barnes School. While Arshad was still a student at the school, Vinod had graciously come down to meet the students and teachers once he had become a superstar.

The entire film industry has become sad today because of Khanna's death. The legendary actor passed away at 11:20 am this morning at the Hurkison Das Hospital (Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre) in Girgaon, Mumbai.

Vinod Khanna was hospitalized on April 1. However, his family kept the news under wraps for four days. Then, son Rahul Khanna told a news agency that “severe dehydration” had caused the hospitalization.

This morning, the official statement from the hospital that confirmed Vinod Khanna's death read as follows: Veteran actor and Member of Parliament Mr. Vinod Khanna, who was admitted to the Sir HN Reliance Foundation Hospital breathed his last at11.20 am due to advanced bladder carcinoma.
