Actor Sonu Sood’s philanthropic work has touched everyone’s heart. Amidst the Coronavirus pandemic, he and his team have been relentlessly working days and nights to help the commoners. He is not only offering food to the needy but also coming to their medical aid as well. However, to display their affection and to express gratitude, several well-wishers who sought help from him were seen thronging outside Sonu’s residence on Wednesday. A Bollywood paparazzo shared a video on social media where plenty of people were spotted outside his house. In an emotional moment, few were seen touching his feet. Overwhelmed with the response, he consoles them.
In the video, we also get to see a lady tying a rakhi on Sonu’s hand. The actor gets extremely emotional as he then folds his hands towards people, out of respect. He even obliges them with photos and selfies. A similar act of gratitude was seen on Sunday as well where he met and greeted people outside his residence. Earlier, some fans in Andhra Pradesh poured milk on his feet long photograph to showcase their love and appreciation for his work during COVID. A video of the same had gone viral on social media.
Reacting on the same, the actor told SpotboyE.com that he felt truly humbled but also expressed his apprehension as he said that every morsel of food, every drop of milk counts amidst the challenging times.
He said, “These are very tough times. Every morsel of food and every drop of milk counts. The nation is suffering. We are all trying to help in our ways. So I’d urge my fans to not use milk and other expensive items to show their appreciation. Your love reaches out to me anyway. You don’t have to show it. Use that resource to help the needy.” ALSO READ: Sonu Sood Praises Gurmeet Choudhary For His Selfless Work During COVID-19 Crisis; Says 'Keep Bringing Smiles'
